Getting to know our clients and stakeholder groups is extremely important to us. Putting people's requirements at the forefront of our work development and services helps us implement actions that are relevant, interesting and deliver multiple benefits. We believe in finding good solutions and then making these widely accessible.
In delivering our activities we look for links and opportunities across all our streams of work to ensure maximum impact and value from our efforts. To achieve this we employ staff with a range of expertise and previous experience, and encourage fluid team working ensuring our activities benefit from a diverse range of skills and ideas.
Since 2001 Warm and Well have installed more than 64,000 energy efficiency improvements in 41,000 households, saving 17,000 of CO₂ every year!
We have unlocked more than £2m of funding for community groups.
We have worked with over 500 businesses.
In the last two years we have supported 7,107 pupils in 204 schools.
We've directly worked with 65 communities, carrying out over 80 community building surveys and training 878 community members.
We value partnership working and the scope it brings for integration of our work into communities and, where this is not straightforward, we work hard to secure funding to provide services ourselves.
We have many stories that illustrate how, by listening to one person or group, we have found our way into all kinds of interesting activity. Take a look at our Areas of activity page to find out about our approach for supporting communities to become more sustainable. Also, read about all the things we are getting up to at the moment on our Live activities page.
