With a membership of over 100 mainly locally based installers, the network has initiated over £300,000 worth of energy efficiency improvement work in the region since 2014
Link to Energy offers an online directory that allows people to locate and contact companies that can provide them with everything from solid wall insulation to solar panels. It was established in 2007 and as well as linking customers with locally based installers, it also provides members with updates on local, national and regional policies, information on training opportunities and regular meetings.
Q. What is something you didn't expect to happen at the start of the project?
How large the network would become! Link to Energy started with a small group of member companies in Stroud listed on a few pages of paper. It now has its own dedicated website, over 100 members and is used across the region!
Q. What do you enjoy most about this project?
Getting to know a wide variety of companies and interacting with them as they react to the coming and going of government funding schemes, incentives and policies has been very interesting.
