Cheltenham Regeneration Repair Cafe

We are pleased to announce Warm and Well will be attending the increasingly growing Regeneration Repair Café on the 4th February 2017 to offer free impartial energy advice to all those in attendance at our advice table.

The next Regeneration Repair Café session will take place on Saturday 4th February 2017, 10am - 1.30pm at St Andrews Church, Montpellier Street, Cheltenham, GL50 1SP.

The café is run on a monthly basis by volunteers and is a joint venture between the University of Gloucestershire, sustainability charity Vision 21, and the Gloucestershire Joint Waste Team. This is going to be the first month where the café will have advice tables with the hope this will become a more regular feature in the future, with a variety of advice being provided to visitors.

The aim of the café is to prevent items from going to landfill. Fixing items deemed to be ‘unfixable’, volunteers are able to repair a variety of items from small electricals to working tools as well as providing guidance on bike maintenance (bike repairs need to be booked in advance). For further information please see their website or contact Vision 21 on office(at)vision21.org.uk / 01242 224321.
