Place Coordinator (Llandrindod Wells)

Place Coordinator (Llandrindod Wells)

Hefyd ar gael yn Gymraeg (Swydd-ddisgrifiad)

Due to our recent success in securing funding for a new project, we are seeking to appoint a Place Co-ordinator based in Llandrindod Wells. The post holder will work on the Big Lottery Funded project, Llandrindod Wells - Together for Wellbeing.

Candidates should hold a relevant degree and/or have several years’ experience within a community development field. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and able to work independently.

This project will require the post holder to coordinate, facilitate, enable and support all stages of co-production from co-design to co-delivery. This project will work with families that are experiencing “in work” poverty and help them develop and implement projects that respond to issues they have identified that could improve their wellbeing. The post holder will be required to manage a grant budget and provide monthly financial and progress reports.

The post holder will work with other established local and regional organisations and networks to prevent duplication and bring in support and expertise. Duties will include working closely with the local schools and a range of residents stakeholders and partners, therefore good communication skills are essential. A willingness to travel to meetings across Wales is required.

The successful candidate will be expected to commence as soon as possible.

This role is part time – 22.5 hours per week, mainly within standard office hours. Occasional evening or weekend work will be required. However, there is the opportunity to work on other Severn Wye Community and Education projects to make this position full-time if desired. We would be happy to discuss flexible working, compressed hours and partial term-time-only working. To discuss this role, the hours and potential working arrangements please call Dave Gittins 07758 382891.

In line with our equalities policies, managers selecting candidates for interview do so anonymously, therefore only application forms will be accepted, not CV’s. Candidates may also submit a one page cover letter as long as it is simple to remove details that may indicate age, gender or race.

Applications by 1 January 2019
Interviews planned for 10/11 January 2019 in Llandrindod Wells.

This post is funded by the Big Lottery Fund.
