Severn Wye are recruiting a skilled Director of Finance and Operations to ensure the successful delivery of the charity’s portfolio of projects and programmes.
The role reports directly to the CEO and as such will be a member of the leadership team, sharing collective responsibility with our Director of Development and Head of Marketing to deliver Severn Wye’s work to empower people and communities to improve quality of life, sustainability and wellbeing.
The Director of Finance and Operations will lead a team of staff (to be shaped by the two Directors and CEO on appointment) delivering financial and operational support for the charity, providing the necessary oversight, knowledge and skills to enable the charity to succeed. Responsibilities will include finance, managing infrastructure, HR, office management, legal compliance and acting in the role of Company Secretary.
The successful candidate will have substantial management and financial experience, with relevant accountancy qualifications, preferably with a proven track record in the charity sector.
